- This paper expands on mechanical pre-treatment developments for enhanced biomethane production from marine feedstock and proposes an optimised model for the selection of the processing set-ups. This work arose from a PhD project funded by the Irish Research Council - RS/2010/2934, awarded to co-author Silvia Tedesco. The success of this project led directly to two grants aimed at investigating the commercial feasibility of the process/technology presented in the paper (CF-2015-0370-Y and IP-2014-0336Y), both funded by Enterprise Ireland.
