- Double-weighted statement
- This book is based on an empirically rich study of North Korea’s past and present diplomatic relations, as well as an analysis of its foreign policy behaviors. It is composed of a large amount of data (historical speeches, archival materials, security and trade database outputs) including data gathered in North Korea during field study. The work overcame significant difficulties in obtaining data from the country concerned, and bringing about new insights. In the context of recent geopolitical changes, the volume puts North Korea on the map of established area studies works.
