- Archiving version of the original approach that maximises the self-evolving ability of approximate reasoning with sparse knowledge. The paper was selected as one of the two Publication Spotlight articles from those published in the flagship journal of IEEE-TFS (IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine, 13(1):25-27) in 2018, and an initial part of it (not returned) received best paper award from 16th Workshop on Computational Intelligence. Underpinned successful grant proposals separately funded by RAEng, British Council, Welsh Government and NSFC, and inspired a series of further developments internationally.
