- This experimental study pioneered the development and performance validation of an instrumented particle, for directly estimating the probability of destabilisation of riverbeds and banks, due to violently fluctuating hydrodynamic forces. The research has resulted in an invitation to present a seminar talk at the Hydraulic Constructions Laboratory, EPFL, Switzerland (https://memento.epfl.ch/event/assessing-the-capacity-of-turbulent-flows-to-condu/) as well as to convene a session at the European Geosciences Union Assembly (EGU2017) - https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU2017/orals/23620.
