- Gunn is the PanCam Instrument Calibration Scientist and lead the team responsible for planning and implementing the pre-flight and in-flight calibration of PanCam, and the cross calibration with other rover instruments. Gunn designed, manufactured, and characterised the PanCam calibration target, the PanCam emulator (AUPE) used for all field testing, and other components. Gunn contributed to the study which developed the geology filter set, drafted the text and figures for the sections on the “Small Items” and “Radiometric Calibration Plan”, and provided critique of the manuscript.
