- This work in digital forensic triage was part of a body of work which led to a highly successful spin-out company (Cyan Forensics). Its significance lies in the speed and accuracy of detecting previously identified contraband fragments. The paper provides part of the underpinning research of one of our submitted Impact Case Studies. The tools developed from this research are now used by many police forces in the UK, along with also being used within a range of international law enforcement agencies.
