- This 110,000-word monograph is based on five years’ research. It draws on an extensive range of primary material from archives in Kenya, India, the United States of America, and the UK, and on wide secondary reading. It uses this to explore for the first time the migration of professionals between the Indian subcontinent and the African continent and to propose a new dimension to the historiography of Indian diaspora studies.
