- This paper focuses on the User-Centred Design (UCD) and Computer Interaction (HCI) aspects of interactive 4D creation, evaluating this from a social science perspective. Zhou et al.’s (2009) paper focused on the technological development of a 4D software tool that postulates an interactive approach to the creation of 4D models. Both emanate from the same project. This paper presents an updated software prototype, which provided additional functionality built upon UCD theory and Computer Supported Collaborative Working (CSCW). The paper also presented a new full user evaluation protocol and presented the results of this in the context of UCD and CSCW.
