- Double-weighted statement
- This monograph combines a close reading of a single film with intensive, archival research into the source material— scripts, production documents, and Kubrick’s personal papers and artefacts conducted primarily in the Stanley Kubrick Archive. It also includes a number of extensive original interviews, as well as synthesis of primary sources and secondary literature relating to cultural-historical and biographical knowledge, as well as literature, Austrian culture and film. Finally, it covers, in detail, the entire five-decade history of Eyes Wide Shut from conception through to afterlife.
