- The aerodynamic modelling principles proposed in this paper were integrated into the Desdemona centrifuge-based flight simulator by the company AMST Systemtechnik GmbH, Austria (https://www.amst.co.at/en/aerospace-medicine/training-simulation-products/desdemona). Since 2016, the Dutch company DESDEMONA BV (https://thedesdemona.com/) has used the Desdemona flight simulator to train over 235 instructors and airline pilots from many flight operators including Lufthansa, German Wings, DHL, Transavia, TAP Air Portugal and AeroLogic for loss of control in-flight (LOC-I) situations. (Contact: Managing Director, AMST-Aviation GmbH and Technical Director, Desdemona BV).
