- Additional information
- This paper presented a new formulation of a bonded contact model for simulating cementious materials using the discrete element method. The model was verified and shown to be able to produce stress-strain response of concrete comparable to Eurocode equation. The model has gained significant recognition and was adopted and implemented in the commercial EDEM software and used by industrial and academic researchers worldwide [Edem Simulation contact available; Deakin University, Australia contact available].
