- This paper pioneered the use of blockchain technology to enhance differential privacy by keeping track of repeated queries. This research reported here led to a bid securing a £263k grant from NCSC on effective data anonymisation and attracted interest from SEROCU (South East Regional Organised Crime Unit) which eventually led to a sit for Sassone on the South East Regional Cyber Strategic Governance Group, a body pulling together regional Police forces, NCA, Border Force, Immigration Enforcement, NCSC, GAIN, for governance of cybercrime prevention and investigation.
