- Double-weighted statement
- Palestinian Citizens of Israel emerged from 7 years of research, with dozens of organisations, political parties, grassroots spaces and community centres and an evolving archive of Hebrew, Arabic and English-language legal, organisational and government documents. Because anti-colonial struggles are difficult to access or trace, multiple month-long field-visits were made to primary sites of Palestinian-citizen life and activism, and included participant observation of dozens of political actions (public protests, town meetings, community activities, protest tents, exhibitions and counter-mapping tours, etc) and over 100 individual semi-structured interviews with activists, scholars, government representatives, community leaders and rights practitioners across the Palestinian political spectrum.
