- The results arose from the EPSRC EP/K018930/1 and Zepler Institute projects with Southampton University, and were originally disseminated in California at the AVS?62 in 2015 (https://www2.avs.org/symposium2015/Sessions/Session_EM+AS+SS-MoA.html) followed by industrial interest from RedWave Energy Inc. (pat.brady@redwaveenergy.com) and Qinetiq (SHAQ@qinetiq.com). The paper led to invited talks at the ECS?2016 in USA (https://ecs.confex.com/ecs/229/webprogram/Paper70195.html; DOI: 10.1149/07202.0287ecst) and the University of Rome, the IEEE Italy Electron Device Society Chapter, May 2018 (contact: fernanda.irrera@uniroma1.it); and to the organizing committee of NANOENERGY?2016 international conference (http://www.nanoenergy.co.uk) and as a Co-Vice Chair for new Gordon Research Conference on optical rectennas in the USA (contact: moddel@colorado.edu).
