- Nazism and Neo-Nazism in Film and Media demythologises film, media, and popular culture, concerning Nazism and neo-Nazism. Mainland Europe, the UK, North and Latin America, Asia are examined taking a transnational approach. The mediated notion that Nazism and neo-Nazism are theatres of extremism is challenged. Football hooliganism, conspiracy theories, white power groups, the rise of Donald Trump, and the influence of globalisation are all addressed. This book deepens our understanding of how and why these and related ideologies have often been at the centre of politics and culture, rather than at the margins as is frequently thought.
