- Double-weighted statement
- This book represents the culmination of a substantive and complex piece of research, warranting a longer-form output. The book has several components and key themes that contribute to the larger fields of Critical Mixed Race Studies, and Critical Men and Masculinities Studies. The book develops the theorisation of a new concept that required substantial detail and time. The book also draws upon two international contexts. Finally, in terms of sampling, the study is one of the first of its kind to include a significant (and exclusive) sample of mixed-race men (men are regularly under-sampled in mixed-race studies).
