- Double-weighted statement
- Monograph based on award-winning ESRC-funded empirical research that examines contemporary couple relationships. The first large scale study in the UK to examine how couples sustain their partnerships across life course, the comprehensive analysis draws on nearly 5500 survey responses worldwide (4500 UK) and multidimensional multiple methods qualitative data from 50 couples. The claim for double-weighting for Couple Relationships in the 21st Century arises from both scale of input and scope of output. The ambitious analysis engages with research, policy, and practice and is a landmark text in the field of personal life and relationships studies.
