- This single-authored book (240 pages), analyses copyright protection using normative, historical and comparative methodologies. The author analysed an extensive range of material including the records of the Stationers’ Company, numerous cases, statutes and policy documents. Four chapters could have been published separately: chapter 2 on the history of copyright in unpublished works; chapter 4 on unpublished works in contemporary copyright law; chapter 5 on justifications for protecting unpublished material; and chapter 6 on persistent protection issues.
