- Double weighting for the co-authored Star Carr publication is requested on grounds of ‘extended scale and scope’ (REF2021 Submission Guidance Para 246). 1. It represents a longer form of output, consisting of two volumes and a total of 971 pages. 2. It represents both an extensive and complex piece of research, the product of 15 years of research and nine seasons of excavation and involving the co-ordination and incorporation of the work of 55 specialists. As such it also involved the collection and analysis of a large body of site records, radiocarbon dates. artefacts and ecofacts.
