- Awarded honourable mention at premier HCI conference, CHI. As early example of longitudinal research on technology and social action, has influenced work at Washington, Lancaster, Newcastle and Dundee. Digital storytelling approach was used by communities in Santa Fe, Argentina, awarded "project of interest" by the State of Santa Fe, and adopted as exemplary for ICT literacy and community participation by Argentine Minister of Education. The approach helped to develop a training course, "Make and narrate with ICT", delivered to 1500 teachers and students in Argentina. The work received coverage in the Guardian (2015) (https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2015/jun/10/art-data-digital-city).
