- This book is a major contribution to knowledge in the context of racism research in Education. It builds on previous work with new, original material argued coherently and authoritatively. It is comprehensive and robust, including thorough analyses and development of conceptual frameworks such as Critical Race Theory, neo-Marxism and notions such as ‘Race Traitor’ movement in the UK. This is linked to considerable media and agenda analysis of implicated political movements, such as racialised neoliberal capitalism, and systematic links are then made about multicultural and antiracist education.
