- Double-weighted statement
- This substantial volume (c.200,000 words; xxxii+541pp; 26 figures) provides the first comprehensive corpus of anonymous hexameter poems retrieved from papyri, parchments, ostraca and tablets. This is the first of a 4-volume set, containing a catalogue and critical editions of a very diverse range of hexameter adespota and the text of 2 hexameter anthologies. Research for the book (2007-20) involved extensive periods of work on papyrus artefacts supported by a Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowship at Oxford (2012-2015) and a Postgate Fellowship at Liverpool (2013-2016). The volume includes a diversity of primary data and represents work of extended scale and scope.
