- Work on the book is a result of a seven year research project. By merging normative political theory, feminist theory, black political thought, philosophy of history and public policy, the monograph required a substantial amount of research on different disciplines and creative imagination to merge them into a consistent whole. This also means that the monograph aims to contribute to different debates and fields of inquiry. The monograph is part of an ongoing research project of the author, which aims to theorize the complex relationship between emancipation and the unjust past in politics.
