- This monograph was the result of a sustained research effort that takes a new approach to the analysis of fascism. This approach, rooted in discourse historical analysis, is applied to the examination of a wide range of primary sources and material of different genres – songs, speeches, party leaflets etc., – produced by historical and contemporary British Fascist parties and sourced from 5 archival collections in the UK, as well as recent campaign materials. The investigation is undertaken in considerable depth and deals with a variety of perspectives relating to the operation of British fascist parties.
