- This is the first study to demonstrate that dye deposited onto TiO2 photoanodes from scCO2, exceeded the performance of dyes deposited by conventional methods. This finding is crucial in lowering the cost of sensitized solar cells. This study is a result of a body of work with University of Melbourne and CSIRO which began in 2005. The work has been translated into further research into the precipitation of particles onto surfaces; see https://doi.org/10.1016/j.supflu.2014.03.012; https://doi.org/10.1016/j.supflu.2017.12.013; https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jcou.2019.01.005; https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cej.2016.12.066. Finally, the work contributed to the promotion of Subashani Manaiam from Research Fellow to Assistant Lecturer at Monash University, Australia (June, 2016).
