- This book makes a substantial contribution to knowledge in the field of computational design. It is the accumulation of six years of research work, during which Di Raimo analysed 30 projects from François Roche’s New-Territories (NT) collection created between the early nineties and 2010. The analysis of NT's works was informed by primary sources (NT's archive) and conversations with François Roche. Through an original theoretical framework based on Cognitive Sciences and on the notion of Embodiment, the volume aimed at unveiling the methodology behind Roche's practice and his pioneering work within Architecture and Urban Design by using contemporary computational technologies.
