- The work presented in this paper has resulted from a joint effort of a global partnership supported in part by the Natural Science Foundation of the Jiangsu and in part by the MSCA-RISE-Marie-SkłodowskaCurie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) Scheme. This global partnership has provided a conducive research environment to participating researchers, which has resulted in significant original contributions, disseminated through six Q1 IEEE journal articles. This global collaboration success story has inspired the coordinator to found Global Association for Academic Supervision (www.gaasnetwork.org) as a platform to connect similar global virtual project teams with complementary expertise of integrated disciplines.
