- This book is the result of a sustained collaborative research effort and is the first to examine who are the DUP’s members and explore what they believe. It draws upon significant original research, including an Leverhulme Trust-funded survey of the membership and over one hundred detailed interviews. The book offers account and analysis of the party’s membership in terms of personal characteristics and political attitudes. The book was nominated for the Practical Politics Book of the Year Award at the Paddy Power Political Book Awards (2015) and won the PSAI Brian Farrell Book Prize, Political Book of the Year (2015).
