- This paper contradicts accepted wisdom, in showing the feasibility of formalising a classical topic in programming language theory in a theorem prover using entirely concrete approaches to well-typed and well-scoped syntax, without suffering the pain of a deBruijn encoding. ACM CPP, one of the top-tier conferences in interactive theorem proving had a 39% acceptance rate that year.
