- Double-weighted statement
- We have requested that this book be double-weighted. This book is the culmination of a decade of analytical, ethnographic, and practice-based research on political theatre in Russia during the Putin years. Its findings draw upon extensive field research as well as the author’s ongoing work as a performer, producer, and translator of new Russian drama. The book is adapted from Flynn’s doctoral research and incorporates material from the three years she spent working in Moscow with the theatre makers whose works are at the centre of the book’s analysis.
