- This paper obtains the first succinctness results in ontology-based data access with the W3C standard OWL 2 QL and ontologies of infinite depth, establishing exponential and superpolynomial lower bounds for query rewriting. Some of the results were presented at a paper accepted to ICALP 2012 (not returned to REF 2014 due to the work being ongoing).
