- Additional information
- This paper presents fundamental understanding that increases confidence in Additive Manufacturing and attracted significant industry interest: Oerlikon AM co-sponsored an EPSRC CDT studentship to gain further insights in the topic following the publication of this article (contact: Simon Sankare, Oerlikon). The paper opened the way for new collaborations with overseas institutions (e.g. Ibo Matthews, Lawrence Livermore National Lab). Prof Tuck was invited to present this paper at the prestigious conference TMS 2015 in the USA.
