- Two-way relaying channel (TWRC) is a fundamental communication model that achieves nearly doubled spectral efficiency than standard transmission, as firstly studied by Shannon. This paper is significant because it proposes an efficient relaying protocol for the TWRC, which outperforms the three fundamental protocols for TWRC, including Analog Network Coding, Digital Network Coding and Physical-layer Network Coding. This work has successfully supported a grant from RCUK Sustainable Society Network+ (A Pilot Study on a Fully Deployable Cooperative UAV System for Flooding Prediction, Monitoring and Response Services) and further publications including an invited paper to the 81st IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference.
