- This EU funded research describes a new method for stabilizing titania-supported palladium catalysts for selective hydrogenation reactions and carbon-carbon cross coupling reactions. These reactions (95% of which use palladium) are essential for the preparation of pharmaceutical intermediates for drug manufacture and for the synthesis of fine chemicals; they are used by most pharma and other chemical industries.
