- Future optical wireless communication systems are expected to provide high-speed data transmission in indoor diffuse environments. This was the first paper to apply OFDM technology into optical wireless systems and develop efficient data detection and code channel allocation schemes . It was shown that the proposed schemes can significantly improve the performance of optical peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). This joint work was followed up on an EU Horizon2020 Marie Curie Fellowship (the first author Jun-Bo Wang 10/2016 to 9/2018) with the funded amount of 195454 Euros.
