- This over 1,000,000 word book offers the definitive doctrinal analysis of the whole of Irish criminal procedure. It is the second edition of a book that was first published in 2002. The breadth, depth, complexity and speed of changes in the law and procedure over the interim 14 year period were so enormous and fundamental that every original chapter had to be extensively revised and extended. Five new chapters were added. The work has more than doubled from 528,000 words to 1,088,000 words of core text, taking more than ten years of sustained research and analysis to produce.
