- "Bournemouth University and the UK Ministry of Defence, Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, used the Analatom μLPR Corrosion Rate Sensor in a related automotive project “A predictive model for life assessment of automotive exhaust mufflers subject to internal corrosion failure due to exhaust gas condensation.” The application of the μLPR Corrosion Sensor System is at the marketing stage where the automotive application has been presented to the automotive industry and pending will be presented to the Army’s TARDEC automotive effort as a technical and economic system to perform CBM on systems like e.g. automotive exhaust mufflers."
