- Manifold optimization is a powerful tool for solving hard nonlinear optimization problems with constraints. The significance of this paper is that it first paper on the multinomial manifold with tensor decomposition. A new optimisation framework for multinomial manifold was introduced in this paper, which has later been adopted by the open source Manopt toolbox (www.manopt.org, https://bit.ly/3r5nJjr).
