- This paper is a major step in automating indoor modelling from point clouds. This is crucial for the mass adoption of Building Information Modelling (BIM) as automation solves today's bottleneck of manual modelling (cost and time). The IP from this work was transferred to a UCL spin-off. This work has helped establish my research group in the UK BIM community, e.g. as a contributor to the government strategy paper 'Digital Built Britain Level 3 Building Information Modelling'. The work has attracted more than 80 citations and is published in the highest-ranking Open Access journal on the topic of 'Remote Sensing'.
