- Additional information
- The editors worked collaboratively to develop this project, sharing duties from conception through communication to delivery of the final output. This meant full involvement in working with the publisher and the individual authors; drafting the call for papers; selecting the abstracts to submit to the publisher and choosing contributors based on the need to include translation trainers with experience/knowledge of and scholarship in both gender/queer studies and translation/interpreting studies; editing the individual chapters sent in by the authors and the initial copy-editing of the volume.
As one of the co-authors of the introductory and concluding chapters, the submitter here contributed to researching and writing about: current policies at various institutional levels; the ethical, social and ideological limitations embedded in such projects; together with the other co-author colleague the submitter also formulated recommendations for future scholarship in order to promote socially-aware research.
