- Additional information
- Building on a strong heritage of world-leading, influential research on adaptive and reflective middleware, and based on our open source OpenCom technology (downloaded 2,500 times and adopted by a number of EU projects including the "WISEBED" STREP and the “RUNES” and "SmartSantander" IPs), the intellectual contribution here is to show that lightweight (re-)configurable software frameworks can be supported on top in the demanding area of gossip protocols. Includes a systematic approach based on a survey of 33 representative gossip protocols and evaluation of genericity/performance. This paper was published in IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, the leading journal in this field.
