- Additional information
- Asymmetric Multicore like ARMs big.Little are ubiquitous in mobile devices, and are entering the laptop and server markets. This work significantly increases the performance of typical multiple multithreaded workloads running concurrently by employing a novel collaborative approach between the core allocator and individual runqueues over state-of-the-art and Linux, significantly increasing the performance and energy efficiency of AMPs with no change to the programs themselves or the hardware.
