- The research for this 284-page book was carried out from 2014 to 2018. It utilizes a range of case studies, industry data that are not readily accessible, and in-depth interviews with more than 30 key research participants from the Philippine film industry across the production, distribution and exhibition sectors— the majority of which do not easily grant interviews. The scale and scope of the research is equivalent to around half a dozen journal articles that cut across the fields of media industry studies, Asian cinema studies, and cultural policy studies.
