- Immersive auralistion for assessing environmental noise impact is significant in acoustic consultancy. This paper establishes methodology, bringing new collaborations with: (i) AECOM (Royal Society Industrial Fellowship IF130114) and the application of these methods to A303 (Stonehenge) bypass and M54-to-M6 link road public sound demonstrations for Highways England; (ii) Arup’s (Contact: Senior Engineer), on biometric noise assessment metrics via NERC/EPSRC multi-disciplinary projects (NE/N018745/1 Arup Global Research Challenge; EP/P001947/1 York City Environment Observatory; EP/M023265/1 Digital Creativity Labs); (iii) EP/S513945/1 EPSRC ICASE studentship with BBC R&D’s (Contact: Senior Researcher) on AI soundscape design.
