- Everist’s contribution to this volume consists of a chapter ‘Meyerbeer and the Hound of the Baskervilles’ (16k words), the introduction to the volume ‘Guns and Roses: Meyerbeer Then and Now’ (7k words), the selection of the 21 additional chapters for the volume, the editing and in some cases revision of the English. Everist’s chapter originates in, and is an extended version of, the keynote address to the conference (Pistoia, Biblioteca Comunale Forteguerriana, September 2014) of which the book constitutes the selected proceedings.
