- The method developed in this paper has been routinely used by Deepwater Offshore Basin (DOB) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) for conducting research and consultancy projects worldwide (contact: Prof Xin Li) with significant cost savings and improved efficiency. The DOB at SJTU is regarded as one of the top three major ocean engineering research laboratories around the world when compared to those with similar capacities. This research also led to a RMB¥3.0M, 5 year funding award from the National Natural Science Foundation, China (Grant No. 51239007, contact: Jianmin Yang).
