- The Tragedy of Philosophy is an extended piece of research (314 pages), and is the product of four years of research. It consists of seven chapters that examine the philosophical reception of tragedy from the eighteenth century to the present. The historical nature of this study required a longer-form output that reflects an extended process of individual investigation involving a diverse range of primary texts (i.e. ancient, modern and contemporary). The book applies this research to contemporary problems in epistemology, which required a lengthy introduction and a concluding essay.
