- Class-based storage can effectively improve the management and deployment of flood control materials. This research draws on the combined expertise of the Chinese team (logistics) with UK expert (flood risk response) to develop a novel and innovative approach to support the deployment of key emergency equipment and resources to tackle flooding. This Research has led to the development of a comprehensive evaluation index system and a class-based model are developed using the grey clustering method. Application of the model at the Jiangsu provincial water conservancy and flood control materials reserve centre is used to validate the model.
