- Tim Shephard is sole author of 15 of the 23 sections of this major study supported by a three-year Leverhulme Research Grant. His contribution totals c.95,000 out of c.150,000 words, distributed as follows: Intro; Chapters 1 (entire), 3.1-4, 4.1, 4.3, 4.5-6; Epilogue. Shephard also co-designed the research for the sections drafted by his co-authors (project RA and 2 PGRs), and revised and edited those sections to reach a final draft for publication.
