- This paper details the first optimal algorithm for the social ride sharing problem that many ridesharing services aim to solve for (Uber Social, Lyft). This work led to the first author winning a 2-year Marie Curie Fellowship and a key contribution to the the £5m Logistar EU project on logistics planning and scheduling. The work also led to a tutorial on the topic of Ridesharing at the Agents Summer school (ACAI 2019).
